Assist in the scheduling and updating of programs and graphic items and playlists for all channels.
Support the upload of playlists to Cloud Playout and verify that all required assets are included.
Communicate with the Playlist department to resolve playlist issues.
2.Technical QC(If Required):
Watch programs for technical issues and log any discrepancies in video/audio quality.
Assist in identifying and reporting issues such as pixelation, audio sync problems, or graphic glitches.
Follow-up with senior team members to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.
3. File Conversion & Upload:
Help identify missing files and assist with file conversion to the correct Cloud format.
Support the upload process and ensure files are successfully transcoded and available in the Cloud.
Monitor the upload process and take necessary action if any errors or warnings occur.
4. Graphics Management:
Trigger dynamic graphics during live events and assist with lower-third updates.
Help with the creation and management of end credits for live Mass broadcasts.
5. Live Event Support:
Assist with the scheduling of break playlists for live events.
Help with the reception and verification of live feed sources.
Support live event recording and streaming, ensuring high-quality transmission.
6. Channel Monitoring:
Monitor channel output to ensure quality control during broadcasts.
Report any issues related to audio, video, or streaming to senior team members.
7. SW Prayer Channel:
Help manage playout systems for the SW Prayer Channel, ensuring smooth operation during live events.
Assist with switching live feeds and ensuring that lower-thirds are updated during live Mass broadcasts.
Monitor the channel's video/audio quality and assist with troubleshooting any issues during broadcasts.
Assist with network access management (LAN & WiFi) for users and support file sharing on SAN.
Provide basic support for Mac workstations, PCs, and related accessories.
Report electrical or hardware issues (UPS, AC, fire alarm, CCTV) to senior staff and assist with basic troubleshooting.
Respond to operational requests from the senior team and assist with daily playout tasks.
Communicate with internal teams (e.g., Playlist, Library, Graphics, Digital Media, etc.) to resolve operational issues.
Report technical issues promptly to the Senior Playout Engineer or Playout Engineer.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Media Technology, Broadcast Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Basic knowledge of cloud-based playout systems and broadcast workflows.
Familiarity with video/audio formats, transcoding processes, and file management.
Understanding of technical QC procedures, including identifying video/audio discrepancies.
Proficiency in handling live event support, including managing live feeds and graphics.
Basic networking knowledge (LAN, WiFi) and experience with Mac and PC troubleshooting.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across departments.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and address technical issues promptly.
Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment, including support during live events and emergencies.
