The Data Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization’s customer and business data, ensuring accuracy, integrity, security, and accessibility within HubSpot and other data systems. This role involves managing databases, maintaining customer records, enforcing data governance policies, and optimizing data usage for business operations.
Responsibilities
Oversee the collection, storage, and organization of customer and business data within HubSpot and other relevant platforms.
Maintain data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems, ensuring duplicate-free and well-structured records.
Develop and implement data entry, validation, and cleansing procedures to keep HubSpot lists, properties, and records clean.
Manage data synchronization between HubSpot and other integrated platforms (e.g., CRM, ERP, marketing automation tools).
Define and control user permissions and access levels within HubSpot, ensuring secure and appropriate data handling.
Monitor and enhance security measures to prevent unauthorized data access or breaches.
Configure and manage HubSpot CRM properties, pipelines, workflows, and lists to support business needs.
Ensure proper data migration, integration, and API connections with other business tools (e.g., Salesforce, ERP, Google Analytics).
Track key data metrics, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve customer segmentation, engagement, and conversion rates.
Work with analysts and stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and usability for decision-making.
Provide training and support to employees on best practices for data entry, usage, and maintenance within HubSpot.
Communicate data-related policies and updates to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business processes.
Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in data management, CRM administration, or database administration.
Strong expertise in HubSpot CRM, workflows, reporting, and integrations.
Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA).
Proficiency in SQL, Excel, Google Sheets, and other database tools.
Experience with data visualization tools (HubSpot Reports, Power BI, Tableau).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with HubSpot integrations using APIs, Zapier, or third-party tools.
Familiarity with cloud-based data storage solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Knowledge of marketing automation and customer segmentation strategies.
